Reunited and it "Cheers" so Good!
Were cheerleading and dancing a part of your life when you were younger? Yes, cheerleading and dance were both a big part of my life growing up. I started dancing at the age of 3 and started cheering in middle school.
You were a member of the illustrious Washington Redskins Cheerleaders. Please tell us about your cheerleading experience with the Redskins. My experience as a Washington Redskins Cheerleader was by far one of the best experiences of my life. To be a part of an organization that focuses on volunteerism and the opportunity to give back to our troops was beyond gratifying. I've met some of the most amazing women who I am still friends with today. The sisterhood is like nothing I've ever experienced.
What your most memorable moments as a cheerleader? My most memorable moment as a Washington Redskins Cheerleader was my very first game as NFL cheerleader. The excitement, the joy and the pure energy from the fans was euphoric, and I still remember it like it was yesterday. Amazing!
What advice would you give to a current or future cheerleader/dancer? The advice I would give to give to current or future cheerleaders/dancers is to never give up on your dreams. Believe in yourself and your talents and nothing will ever stop you.
Tell us what you are doing now and what you do in your spare time. Based on your comparison shots from when you cheered almost 15 years ago to a recent one in your old uniform, you look like you are into fitness. You look amazing on both pictures!! As a mom, entrepreneur and former NFL Cheerleader, I have always had a passion for helping others achieve their health and fitness goals. After 13 years in the pharmaceutical industry, I decided to follow my passion and Fit with Jeanette Chandler was born.
