Born in Houston, Texas and have lived in Nashville, TN for 9 years. I was on the C. E. King High School Pantherettes and was Asst. Captain my Senior year. I danced on the San Jacinto Jr. College Gator Gals prior to making the Houston Oiler Derrick Dolls in 1979. I was on the Derrick Dolls for 3 great years until 1981 when I married and started my family. I have 5 children, ages 28 to 10, four girls and a boy. While I have a Degree in Commercial Art and Graphic Communications and do some freelance art and graphics, my passion and what I enjoy most is singing. I performed many venues in Texas and Alabama until moving to Nashville. My daughter Melany and I worked professionally as a Duo for almost 9 years and we released several singles, including "Just Like The Movies," in 2005, we released 2 album projects "You Give Me Love," and "Just Like The Movies." After signing on as recording artist with Indie Label Vaquero Records in 2003,I've recorded many great songs by some awesome songwriters, recording original songs and releasing some of them. I sell my music online and have a duet now on I-Tunes and a new album due out this fall. The first single off the album, "Out Of The Blue," will be released July 31st, 2012. I'm super excited about it. Last year I was asked to sing on a project for a special cause, bringing awareness the homeless in Houston produced by Dreamstreet Media Group. The single was released and a video shot in the Heights in Houston. I love my life !
