Jennifer Pierce Kirouac

Alumni Cheerleaders found out what former San Francisco 49ers Goldrush, Jennifer Pierce Kirouac, is doing now.  Jennifer is a San Francisco Bay Area native, who grew up watching Joe Montana and Jerry Rice lead the 49ers to multiple NFC Championship and Super Bowl victories.  At the age of 10, she realized her dream of becoming a San Francisco 49ers Goldrush Cheerleader and spent the next 11 years of her life preparing to reach this goal.  Jennifer led the Sequoia High School cheerleading team to multiple USA National competitions and continued cheerleading at the College of San Mateo. She transferred to the University of California, Berkeley in 1997 and immediately found her niche on the Cal Dance Team.  Upon graduation, Jennifer auditioned and was selected for the 1999 San Francisco 49ers Goldrush.

Though her professional cheerleading career was short-lived (1999-2000 season), Jennifer’s love of the sports and entertainment field did not wane.  Jennifer pursued a full-time, professional career in public relations and event marketing, all while volunteering to coach the Air Force Academy cheerleaders and dancing in local television commercials on the side, when living in Colorado.  Jennifer obtained a Master of Science in Sport and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina, Columbia in 2006.  While in graduate school, Jennifer worked for the USC Athletic Association, developing football and basketball game entertainment.  Her experience at USC led her to the Georgia Tech Athletic Association in Atlanta, Georgia, where she worked as the Director of Promotions and Events for three seasons, developing football and men’s basketball game entertainment.  Her most noteworthy event occurred in 2007 when she developed a football halftime show featuring Big Boi of OutKast, accompanied by the Georgia Tech Marching Band, during the ESPN Thursday Night College Game day at Georgia Tech.

Jennifer has put her exciting but demanding sports career to rest and now gladly serves as the Senior Public Relations Supervisor for Atlanta-based, Chick-fil-A Inc., the nation’s second-largest quick-service chicken restaurant chain (based on sales), currently with more than 1,440 restaurants in 38 states.

Jennifer is married to former University of Georgia football placekicker, Brett Kirouac, and the two reside in a suburb of Atlanta.
